Course Aim
This is a health education course which aims to introduce participants to considering how to better manage their stress levels and that of loved ones such as family and friends too. It is suitable for those with a new interest in mental health.
Course length
1 x 2 hour session
Who is the course for?
Adults 19 + who would like an introduction to managing low-level mental health issues for themselves and others or those who simply have a genuine interest in learning more (Serious mental health issues should always be reported to your GP)

No, this is a non-accredited course.

Course content
What is Mental Health? Rating and reviewing own stress levels Exploring stress container and the importance of de-stressing Successful communicating with those who may be experiencing mental health issues Signposting to appropriate support
How will I learn?
This session will be Tutor led and content will be shared by PowerPoint presentation. There will be opportunities to participate and share ideas if you wish.
